Better to err on the side of caution than to overconfidence.
We are well aware of what is happening; there is no point in waiting until the last minute to prepare ourselves, because it will be too late. So let's roll up our sleeves and get busy.

On this page I propose several lists for strategic stockpiling, make good use of them. You don't necessarily have to follow them to the letter, they are reminders that you will adapt to your own needs and situations. Most of the equipment I propose has been tested by myself or by friends worse off than me. 😀
Supplies only become strategic if you educate yourself, equipment goes hand in hand with knowledge of it. Train, print manuals, etc.
And remember rule No. 1 :
Never tell anyone you have stock.
If the worst really happens, those who know about it will go and beat you up, first at the door, and if you don't give it to them, in the head.
