Programmer IU0IJV has developed two different firmware for the Quansheng UV-K5, K5(8), K6 and k5-plus radios.

🔸 The first firmware is stopped at version 2.9R5.
This is an optimised and definitive firmware, designed for the average user. It includes many interesting functions for classic radio use.

🔸 The second one starts at version 3.
This firmware is constantly evolving, it is not just an update of the version 2.9R5but a complete rebuild with notable functions for technical use of the radio. With version 3, you will have another radio in your hands!

For this reason, it was decided to separate them into two manuals.
